Ever wondered about voice acting? Or about the people behind the voices of your favorite animated characters? The Dunleath Historic Neighborhood is proud to present prolific actor and voice actor, Peter Renaday, on April 10th at "Meet Pete." Pete was the voice of "Splinter" in the original Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles cartoons. He also has over 150 IMDb acting credits in film, television, video games (Assassin's Creed, Fallout, EverQuest II, and more), albums, shorts and videos, and a long association with The Walt Disney Co. - having worked at Disney Studios for many years beginning early in his career - and he voiced many Disney theme parks attractions. Pete was acquainted with Walt Disney and has great stories about working at Disney Studios from 1959 until 1992.
Audience members will interact with Pete in Burbank, CA via video and will be encouraged to ask him questions about his days as "Splinter", voice-over work, Disney stories, his time on General Hospital – whatever suits the audience’s fancy. Be sure to check out Pete’s complete list of credits here: http://www.imdb.com/name/nm0719115/?ref_=nv_sr_1
CTG’s own Mitchel Sommers will help moderate the discussion and field questions from the audience. Tickets are $10 at the door.
Proceeds will benefit the Dunleath Historic Neighborhood’s Dunleath Porchfest, a free event in which neighborhood porches are turned into performances venues and local performers share their talents.
