National Night Out
Please plan to join us for National Night Out on Tuesday, August 5th from 6-8 pm in Sternberger Park. Neighbors will be treated to tacos as well as hot dogs and hamburgers prepared by Taqueria Los Jarochitos. We’ll also present a summary of our neighborhood’s activities and events over the past year, and we’ll vote on our neighborhood’s Board of Directors. Bring a chair or blanket, catch up with neighbors, and meet new neighbors. Use the link below to sign up and to let us know how many will attend. Please sign up by July 29th.
Dunleath Porchfest
An annual music and performing arts event. Neighbors offer to share their porches as performance venues, and performers offer to share their talents. The two are paired, the community is invited, and guests can stroll from house to house to enjoy performances and goodwill in a festival-like atmosphere throughout the afternoon. There will also be food vendors, a free activity for kids, event t-shirts, caps, and giveaways, and to generate even more community goodwill, we collect food items and donations for the Triad Health Project food pantry. This family-friendly event culminates in a single performance at Sternberger Park to conclude the event. Admission is free, and everyone is welcome.
